Since I often quote introspection and meditation as the tools that I use frequently, people said I know how to use the tool introspection but what about meditation. Is it useful for day to day living or only for spirituality ?
So I thought I would write this blog
All of us know about prayers so let me connect meditation with prayer first.
Prayer is ‘us’ talking to the Divine and meditation is ‘us’ listening to the Divine’s voice
All of us are accustomed to the inner voice which is constantly playing within us.
When we are disturbed, the inner voice is very turbulent and following it creates a lot of discord. That inner voice is the voice of what we often call as Evil or Negativity within us.
That is why it is important not to react when the mind is turbulent. The Tamil Aathichudi also says that.
Better to wait for mind to become calm. The inner voice heard when the mind is calm is the voice of Divinity or Positivity within us
If you wish to get into this, start by being aware of yourself. You can start by bringing awareness to your breathing to understand the state of mind.
If your breath is smooth that implies mind is calm.
Strive for that.
May the divine world be with you.
Jai hind ! Valgha Vazhamudan !
