Patriotism and me

Way back in 1996, when my parents were looking for a suitable groom for me, there was a major exodus to other countries. Especially United States of America.

Everyone was relocating themselves there

But I was very adamant that I had will not leave my motherland. My logic was that I had studied with the Tax money of my country so I should contribute back to my country

Luckily, my parents did not force me. And they supported me although my marriage was delayed a lot

Today, my two ventures - GlobalIndianTech and Malarum Thottam - An Indian Family Initiative are giving back to my country

Let's awaken and refresh our knowledge imparting method...

Our forefather India and Indians knew the importance of every living organism and had adapted their lifestyle to it.

They were hugely successful. Can say this with confidence because my history teacher told me that India was a successful Agro economy society which exported Non perishable agro products like Spices...

Our traditional Agri method does not kill pests but manages them with a highly evolved scientific and economical manner.

All this was suddenly disrupted by way of western education. Which marketed itself so well that it first made us feel that we were fools.

Now, with in a span of 2 centuries we are with a lot of currency in the world but have lost Humanity, Fresh air, Fresh water , Disease free physical and mental health, comfortable weather and so on....

My dear friends, the western education, after spending millions of money are now proving what are forefathers said by using common sense...which is built on wisdom derived from knowledge of self and awareness of our human body which communicates to 'Us' through our senses and our inner voice...

Why you have specifically mentioned the “Montessori method” ? Are there no better ones?

Many asked me the question which is the title of this post. And below is the anwer.

Education has been happening even before civilisation happened. It is because of education that civilisation happened.

The current system of education is a result of Industrial revolution.

It factors majorly on chronological time. It assumes that every individual is the moment of receptivity at the same time. It does not consider the human factors such as emotions and individual capacities and inner desires and goals.

This educational method was termed successful as the Industrialisation grew in large bounds and the world got connected due to the Technological revolution.

Yes it was successful. It triggered a sound economical revolution in terms of Money. But what about all the rest of the assets such as Natural resources. Today they are in dire state.

And it also triggered Stress in the society as a whole and Chaos in the inner space of individuals.

Today, many educationists are in looking out to bring back the Holistic education. It is not that they did not do it before. But they were in minority.

One person who had done it earlier is Dr Maria Montessori. Her method is a result of 22 years of her personal research. She was so spiritual about it that she did not patent it. She wanted it to grow and adapt as the world grew. She knew that nature has a way of getting upright whatever be the situation.

A system gets perfected and honed when it is used consciously.

When I think of such a system in education where Time is a factor, it is Montessori method that comes to my mind.

If Time is not a factor, Homeschooling which is parallel to the Gurukulam system of ancient India is the BEST.
